Please allow me to introduce my family.....

I am privileged to call North Carolina my home. I believe in living life to the fullest and making each day special. Nature is the greatest place to heal and recharge. I call upon it to restore my peace as often as needed. I live a very simple life by choice and want to share some of the pleasures through this medium.

My little pack consists of two individuals:

My name is Mary. I had an epiphany late in life. I am working hard to enjoy the simple things life has to offer and be more present in the here and now. I know that sounds like a cheesy tag line, but its a powerful truth that has helped to guide my life. Once I became brave enough to follow,

Then there is the star of the show, my lil doggo Pip....he is the cute lil bugger in the green backpack :-)

Pip will be 10 years old this coming April. Health issues

prevent him from joining in on the more strenuous activities or on hot days but when he gets to join in he is always the best of boys.

We love to explore new places and revisit favorite ones. It's surprising how a favorite spot can give off a totally new vibe depending on the conditions and time of year. Wild flowers are a favorite of ours so you will get to see some of our favorites along this virtual trip into our Carolina Adventures.
